Extras NI is Northern Ireland’s 1st, largest and most experienced Extras Agency. We are the largest provider of extras for film, television, commercials & the promotional industries in the north of Ireland. We have been providing extras to the film and television industry since 2005 and we set up our website in January 2007 to serve the increasing number of exciting productions coming to Northern Ireland in a user friendly and professional way.

What sets us apart is that one of our founding partners, Carla Mercer, has worked extensively as an assistant director and an extras co-ordinator in both film and television since 1999 both in Northern Ireland and in London and therefore truly understands and respects the needs of a production, making her a production’s natural first choice to trust with their casting needs.
The other founding partner, Siobhan Holmes, has a wide knowledge of business development and has 15 years experience in I.T. Both women identified a service that was not being properly provided. Until then, extras casting was being provided on an ad hoc basis. Whilst this was effective at the time, the growing demands within the industry require a dedicated and experienced extras provider. Extras NI believes the time has come for Northern Ireland to step up and meet the high standards demanded by the global film and television industry that have chosen Northern Ireland as their location and they want to provide a professional and easy to use service similar to what you would find in London or LA. They are also very excited to find new faces and foster new talent.
