It is worth joining our mailing list now as we sometimes have to find extras from outside our website's members if we are looking for more of a specific look or type of person than we already have or for large numbers of people.

To this effect, you are welcome to email a clear recent head and shoulders photo with your name, age, height and contact telephone numbers to info@extrasni.com and we'll do our best to remember you prior to the next registration if something you are suitable for comes up. But as always, members will get priority for all of our film and tv work.

WHEN ATTENDING AN OFFICIAL REGISTRATION DAY:

Once you have booked your registration day timeslot with us, when you attend:-

You must bring your National Insurance Number (we cannot give you work if you do not have one)

You must bring proof of identification on Registration Day. This should be a passport, valid or expired, and if not, it should be both a drivers licence and your birth certificate, unless you are a child you can provide a passport or birth certificate only.

We do charge a website publication fee. For an individual this is £35 if your application is filled out online, or £40 if a paper application. The same applies for families, £95 if online, £100 if paper. A family constitutes a minimum of three and a maximum of six from the same immediate family, i.e. parents and children, NOT aunts, uncles, cousins etc

Payment of your website publication fee must be made 30 days after the day you attend our registration. Your profile will not be activated on our system until you have paid your website publication fee. If you fill out your application on line, we will send you a reminder 30 days after your registration day and you will be able to pay online by card at that time.

If you prefer, you may also give us a post dated cheque on the registration day you attend.

Make sure you know your MOBILE NUMBER, your POSTCODE and can provide us with a working EMAIL ADDRESS - all of these details are essential for job bookings

Make sure you know your clothing sizes – and do not bend the truth – costumes will be provided for you in the sizes you provide us!

For Men – we need your general size (S/M/L/XL), your chest in inches (the size you’d buy in a suit jacket), your waist in inches (the size you’d buy in a pair of jeans), your inside leg and collar size, also in inches and your shoe size.

For Women – we need your general size (S/M/L/XL), your dress size, your bust size, your waist in inches (the size you’d buy in a pair of jeans) and your shoe size.

For Children under 16 – we need the age of clothing worn and shoe size.

Look your best - nice and neat and tidy - as this photo will be used for at least the next year.

Wear plain and flattering clothes - nothing white, cream or red, no stripes or distracting patterns and nothing with logos or writing on it

Women: keep the make up natural and to a bare minimum, wear your hair down and do not curl your hair unless it is naturally curly

Men: If you have long hair, please wear it down and make sure it is visible in the photograph you get taken.

The vast majority of our work is in Belfast but many jobs do shoot at locations all around Northern Ireland, so please be prepared to travel if required.

Generally most of the work is for adults. While we do accept under 18s onto our books, please note that there is not a huge amount of work for them, so please warn them to avoid disappointment.

There is no guarantee that you will be cast for a role on any productions. However, we will endeavour to find a role that suits you and to put you forward for as many projects as we can and that you suit the brief for.
