May we take this opportunity to say a very fond farewell to our fabulous Nico as she leaves us on Friday for bigger and better things. She has been an absolute diamond at Extras NI and an asset to our company in every aspect of our business. We are going to miss her greatly, but don't you worry, any opportunity we get to drag her back - we will!
We also have had some time to crunch some numbers since our 2nd Birthday and found them rather interesting so thought we would share them.
In the year March 2008 to March 2009, for 78 of our child members we generated 155 days of work. The largest number of days any child worked within the year was 9 days. The average number of days children worked was 2. The average daily amount earned was £67.00, but ranged from £26 to over £1000!
In the same period, for 504 of our adult members, we generated 1309 days of work. The largest number of days an adult member worked within the year was 18 days. The average number of days adult members worked was 3. The average daily amount earned was £67.36, but ranged from £34 to nearly £600!
The grand total of money EARNED BY EXTRAS (the money that goes into your bank accounts, not ours!) was £122,831.61. As Nico pointed out, you could buy a house for that!
So well done us and well done you. And we intend to repeat such volumes in this coming year, even in the middle of a credit crunch. And in the wise words of a supermarket, "Every little helps..." x
