FEBRUARY REGISTRATION & BBC PRODUCTION "SMALL ISLAND"

If you joined Extras NI in February 2008 – the time has come to renew your membership.

And if you have been waiting to join Extras NI, you now have the opportunity at our February Registration Weekend.

For new members and renewing members, we need you to attend either of our two re-registration afternoons at the Wellington Park Hotel. It will only take fifteen minutes and you can either attend on Saturday 7th February between 12pm – 3pm OR on Sunday 8th February between 2pm – 5pm. Please contact Nico on 078 8985 2040 or e-mail info@extrasni.com in order to book yourself a timeslot during that weekend and find out what you need to bring with you. Once booked in, you are entering into an oral contract with us that allows you the standard 7 day cooling off period prior to attending the registration.

Please also encourage any of your friends or family who would also enjoy working with Extras NI to contact Nico directly in order to book their own timeslot for new members.

It looks set to be an exciting year with our first big production kicking off in mid February – a heart wrenching story based on the award winning novel “Small Island” by Andrea Levy which is going to be s stunning period piece set during World War II & The Windrush Years. We’ll be seeking out all our timeless “period faces” for that one – and are still interested to hear from anyone that hasn’t been in touch already that fits any of the descriptions below:

- Pregnant black women due to give birth to a black baby in January, February or March 2009.

- Black men, women and children, and in particular black men aged 16-45

- White American men aged 18-45 or men that can do flawless American accents

That's all for now and we hope you are all having a very happy new year so far and we look forward to seeing you at the Registration Weekend!
